Our tax advisory services include comprehensive services in the areas of taxation of legal and natural persons, solving tax issues including the preparation of statements, analyses and tax optimisation schemes, the preparing of tax returns regarding all types of taxes and also representing clients for tax authorities.

Being a member of an international network, HLB, enables us to provide relevant international tax advisory services, especially concerning double taxation treaties, the case-law of the Court of Justice of the EU and the application of local tax legislation in the course of international tax planning.

Furthermore, we also provide tax services concerning other related issues. We are able to provide comprehensive services in the way of corporate transformations, from the point of view of taxation and accounting (mergers, demergers, transfer of assets to a partner, change in the legal form etc.). We can also provide consultancy on issues linked to the sale of a business or its part, or its liquidation. Last but not least, we assist foreign investors when entering the Czech market and prepare due diligence for them.

Our experts will advise you on VAT issues from the Czech legislation side and namely in connection with the application of EU regulations. We offer services regarding registration of foreign entities from the EU or from third countries for VAT in the Czech Republic, filing of tax returns and summary statements on behalf of these clients and, most importantly, we can represent our clients to the corresponding Czech authorities.

For natural persons, we can prepare tax returns in line with Czech regulations and provide advisory on taxation of their incomes from abroad. Advisory for foreign experts in the Czech Republic as well as for Czech employees and authorised representatives sent to work abroad is yet another special part of our tax advisory services.

Consultancy extended by PROXY, a.s. concerns all taxes applicable in the Czech Republic, both from the aspect of substantive law (how much, when to pay, by whom and regarding what) and procedural law (dealing with the relevant tax authority, representing clients during inspections).

  • application of OECD directives, especially in the area of transfer pricing,
  • advisory regarding double taxation treaties and related tax optimisation,
  • assessing contracts concluded with foreign entities from the tax point of view,
