HLB PROXY is one of the leading providers of consultancy services in the Czech Republic. PROXY, a.s. was established as early as 1991. It specialises in tax advisory, financial accounting, payroll accounting services and other specialised consultancy, while also preparing financial statements. In 1994, the company expanded its services and opened a branch in the town of České Budějovice. Since 1997, audit services have been provided under company PROXY – AUDIT, s.r.o. which deals exclusively with audit-related activities.

At the moment, there are approximately 60 consultants in the two PROXY companies engaged in the areas of accounting, auditing and tax legislation. A great number of our experts are certified tax advisors and auditors. In the České Budějovice branch, there is a 10-member team taking care of our business.

From its founding years, PROXY was oriented not only at the Czech market, but also to foreign investors entering the Czech market. It is the ability of our experts to speak English, German and Russian along with having expertise in the field of international consultancy that enables PROXY to provide top consultancy to the various subsidiaries of foreign companies doing business in the Czech Republic, branches, foreign experts etc. Recent years have also witnessed the opposite trend – Czech companies expanding abroad and seeking advisory services for their branches, foreign acquisitions, employees who are sent to work abroad etc. In order to provide a professional consultancy back-up to international clients, PROXY became a member of HLB, an international association of consultancy companies seated in London (www.hlbi.com). In cooperation with over 500 HLB offices in over 100 countries in the world, we can offer comprehensive consultancy in the field of international tax legislation and audits to our clients.
